Emergency services swarmed a busy street and closed a road following concerns for the safety of a man.
Merseyside Police rushed to Park Road in Toxteth at around 3.30pm on Friday, April 15 following reports of an incident. Officers along with the North West Ambulance Service were in attendance at the incident, which police have have confirmed was over concerns for the safety of a man.
Officers closed a section of Park Road between Northumberland Street and Upper Park Street due to the amount of emergency service vehicles responding to the incident. One police matrix van, five police cars, two ambulances and a negotiator were at the scene.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Officers responded to an incident in Toxteth today, Friday, April 15.
"At around 3.30pm we received a report of a concern for safety of a male on Park Road. There was no cause for concern to the public.
"A section of Park Road was closed while the incident was being dealt with and has now been lifted."
