The A89 Edinburgh Road (eastbound) has been closed on its approach to the Boghall Roundabout to repair an urgent Scottish Water burst.
Drivers are being urged to use caution.
Due to the proximity of the roundabout, it is not considered to be appropriate to use temporary traffic lights as this would cause queuing back onto Boghall Roundabout.
The closure only affects vehicles travelling in an eastbound direction, which will be diverted via the B792 Blackburn Road and the A7066.
Westbound traffic is unaffected.
