A north Dublin road remains closed on Monday morning following a serious single vehicle collision.
Gardai attended the scene at Strand Road, Portmarnock at 5:15am where two occupants of a car were treated on the scene by emergency services.
The driver, a 19-year-old male, and a female passenger whose age is unknown were taken to Beaumont Hospital where their injuries are being described as non-life threatening.
Local diversions are in place as the Coast Road linking Portmarnock and Baldoyle is expected to be closed for most of the morning.
Dublin Fire Brigade said that firefighters and paramedics from Kilbarrack, Swords and a rescue tender from Phibsborough attended the scene.
