Road closed and motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash

A motorcyclist is in hospital with potentially life-altering injuries after coming off his vehicle on a busy Nottinghamshire road.

Police and paramedics were called to the A632 near Warsop, close to Langwith Lodge Care Home, at about 8.20am on Sunday, July 21. The incident involved just one vehicle, according to Nottinghamshire Police, and the road had to be closed for several hours.

A spokesman for the force confirmed a man in his 30s had been injured in the incident. He said the motorcyclist's injuries were "not believed to be life-threatening but were potentially life-altering".

The road was closed at 9.30am on Sunday and it is understood it remains closed while work takes place to clear oil from the road.
