Road closed and emergency services scrambled as police called to 'fight' on Chorlton street

Police were called to reports of a fight on a residential street in Chortlon.

Emergency services were called to Badminton Road, at the junction of Brannocks Road, on Thursday evening (July 2).

Four police cars, an ambulance and detectives were seen attending.

Greater Manchester Police said they were alerted to reports of a fight.

It is unknown if anybody was injured of if there have been any arrests at this stage.

Pictures taken from the scene show a large police cordon surrounding a number of properties.

A police car could be seen blocking either end of the road, with officers standing guard at the cordon.

A GMP spokeswoman said: "At around 7.35pm police were called to reports of a fight on Badminton Road.

"Officers attended."
