Road closed after van drives into telegraph pole

A truck has smashed into a telegraph pole and closed a road in Wirral.

Merseyside Police rushed to Willaston Road at around 3pm on Tuesday, August 8, following reports of a crash. Once at the scene officers found a white Citroen van had crashed into a sign post and telegraph pole near Thornton.
