A 27-year-old man has been reported to the Fiscal after a three-car smash in East Kilbride at the weekend.
The accident happened on Maxwellton Road near to Buchandyke garage on Saturday night shortly after 8.30pm.
Police told the News both their officers and the ambulance service were in attendance but there were no fatalities.
However, they were unable to confirm if any serious injuries had been sustained by those involved.
Drivers posted on social media that diversions were in place following the accident.
One wrote: "I was diverted onto Morrishall Road there. Doesn't look good."
While another added: "It looked like it was just across from the garage....didn't look good. It's very icy tonight too."
And police confirmed the vehicles involved had to be removed from the scene.
The 27-year-old has been reported in relation to driving offences and is due to appear at court on an undertaking at a later date.
