A man sustained a serious head injury after falling from his bike in Kirkdale on Friday (April 1) evening.
The man reportedly fell from his bike on Whitefield Avenue at around 6.15pm. Emergency services attended the scene and the cyclist was taken to hospital, where his condition has been described as serious but stable.
Whitefield Avenue was closed while emergency services responded to the incident. However, it has now re-opened.
