One of Kilmarnock's busiest junctions was mired in chaos this morning after traffic lights stopped working.
The crossing at Irvine Road and Munro Avenue is currently a free-for-all with drivers left to negotiate the road themselves.
No lights, including the pedestrian crossing, were working with motorists having to creep round the junction.
