A road was blocked by police following a serious 'head on' crash in St Helens.
Officers were called at around 7.40pm today following a two vehicle crash on Travers Entry in, which involved a Nissan and a Kia.
Emergency services are currently at the scene and the junction of Travers Entry and Neills Road is currently closed.

People living in the area reported a large police presence, with claims of "10 police cars", fire engines and ambulance at the scene.
Another person who witnessed the scene earlier on described it as a "head on crash".
Pictures from the scene show a police car blocking access on Bold Road and it is understood that only pedestrians can access the road.
Police have advised drivers to avoid the area as emergency services continue to deal with incident.
It is unclear the extent of injuries following the crash, however screens were put up at the scene.
Merseyside Police were contacted for comment regarding the extent of injuries.
Traffic management system Inrix said Travers Entry was closed in both directions between Neills Road and Helena Road.
It said: "Travers Entry in both directions closed due to serious accident, two vehicles involved between Neills Road and Helena Road.
"The road was closed Wednesday evening."
A force incident manager for Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm officers are currently in St Helens dealing with a road traffic collision.
We were contacted at around 7.40pm this evening, Wednesday, November 17, following reports of a two vehicle collision on Travers Entry involving a Nissan and a Kia.
"Emergency services are currently at the scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
"The junction of Travers Entry and Neills Road is currently closed."
