Road blocked after three-car crash in Droylsden

A road in Droylsden is blocked this morning after a three-car crash.

The crash happened on Market Street at the junction with Medlock Street at around 7.15am on Monday (July 5).

Three cars were involved, police said.

No injuries have been reported but all three cars are damaged, a spokesperson for the force added.

The road remains partially blocked off this morning with emergency services at the scene.

Some bus services - including the Stagecoach 230 and 231 services - are being diverted away from the area.

In a tweet, Transport for Greater Manchester said: "#MarketSt junction with #MedlockSt - Droylsden partially blocked due to an RTC.

"Local bus services are on diversion, please check @StagecoachGM for further details.

"Emergency services are at the scene."
