RJ Barrett revealed he’s actually right handed and NBA Twitter had jokes

It just keeps getting worse and worse for Knicks fans. Honestly, it’s hard not to feel bad for them.

Their team has been an absolute joke this year. With everything from Steve Stoute First Take debacle to all the press releases the team has dropped explaining things that really didn’t need to be explained, they just continue to pile on to the mess.

Today we got some more junk to add from none other than Knicks rookie and their next savior, RJ Barrett. Apparently, he might be shooting with the wrong hand?

On the court his dominant hand is his left hand but with everything else in life, he’s a natural righty. That’s… interesting.

Of course, you know Twitter had jokes for this one.

Except for Knicks fans. They had no jokes — just more confusion. So, you know, same old same old for them. Something like this.

RJ, buddy, if shooting 39 percent from the field and 31 percent from 3-point range is comfy for you, maybe try being uncomfortable? That right hand can’t be any worse, right?

To be fair to RJ, this is actually a pretty common thing. I mean, even LeBron James is a lefty who actually shoots with his right! James actually makes his shots, though.

Barrett is actually a pretty promising prospect for the Knicks and is really good at basketball, so I won’t poke too much fun at him. But he has to fix that shot.

I’m not a shooting coach, so what do I know. But this seems like a pretty good starting point.
