Riyadh Season Returns on October 20 with ‘Unprecedented Surprises’

The Saudi General Entertainment Authority announced on Saturday that this year’s edition of the Riyadh Season will kick off on October 20.

Governor of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh tweeted that the agenda of the event will be announced on October 4.

“Great and unprecedented surprises are in store,” he added.

The second edition of the Riyadh Season will be held on an area spanning 5.4 million meters and 14 different districts of the capital. Over 7,500 events are planned for the festival.

Al-Sheikh said the festival, which is being organized by Saudis, will astound the world as it will boast over 10 global exhibitions, 200 international restaurants and cafes and over 350 theatrical shows, including six international and 18 Arab ones.

Some 70 concerts will be held at the festival, including six by international artists. Over 100 recreational events will also be held, including football matches.
