Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh announced on Monday that the upcoming Riyadh Season will host a football match to honor the legacy of the late great Diego Armando Maradona.
In a tweet, he said a “historic once in a lifetime” match will be held between Spain’s Barcelona and Argentina’s Boca Juniors in memory of the Argentine legend, who died last year.
The match will be held on November 25, marking the one-year anniversary of his passing.
Maradona had played for both clubs during his prestigious career.
