Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan stressed the importance of committing to the duration granted to ministries and other government bodies to fulfill the use of e-services via Etimad platform – a duration of maximum 60 days.

Jadaan added that bodies that fail to fulfill this task within the determined duration should send their justifications to the ministry of finance to be studied in the participation of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

He lauded the order of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in this regard.

He highlighted that Etimad digital platform, which was inaugurated in the beginning of the current year, aims at providing financial services for the public and private sectors in a way that saves time and efforts through ridding paper transactions and achieving a higher degree of transparency.

Jadaan noted that the ministry of finance has completed the automation management of budget, purchases, competitions, contracts, payments as well as financial rights of public sector employees.
