Saudi and Yemeni officials have held a meeting to discuss the safe delivery of humanitarian relief and assistance to all Yemeni regions and governorates.
The Riyadh meeting was chaired by Adviser to the Royal Court, General Supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Rabiah and attended by Yemeni Minister of Local Administration Abdul Raqeeb Fatah and Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and the executive director of Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations (YCHO) Mohammed Al Jaber.
The attendees also examined means to prevent Houthi militias from looting aid and impeding the work of humanitarian organizations by arresting their staff.
The conferees called on the international community and UN agencies to stand firmly against the increasing and flagrant Houthi violations.
Meanwhile, KSrelief delivered seven fully equipped ambulances with integrated technical tools to the Yemeni government in Aden, as part of a project to support the country’s health sector.
The ambulances are quick and effective rescue tools to help patients and the injured, especially critical cases that require immediate transfer to hospitals and health centers with ease and safety.
This comes within the framework of health projects implemented by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief.
