Riyadh Hosts 'Arabians' Festival...The First of Its Kind in the Region

Saudi Arabia is hosting the Arabians Festival, one of the largest international forums in the equestrian field, which is part of a series of sports and entertainment events to be held in Riyadh this season.

The festival, which will kick off on Dec. 23 and extends over two months, aims to promote Saudi Arabia as a global center for horse and equestrian sports, and home to purebred Arabian horses.

The festival features many cultural and entertainment activities, including, “The Arab Championship for Purebred Arabian Horses”, in its second edition with an international classification (C), which is one of the largest tournaments in the region.

The tournament extends over three days, with the participation of 300 horses in their various categories.

The festival will include parallel events, such as multiple auctions of Arabian horses, horse shows from all over the world, circus shows, children’s area, and concerts. Visitors will enjoy outdoor seating and an open food area with sophisticated hospitality.

The previous session of the “Arab Championship for the Beauty of Purebred Arabian Horses” was held in 2018, with the participation of 300 Arabian horses, while 25,000 visitors attended the 3-day event.
