The Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), which operates King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, has joined the Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific.
ACI is the international body representing airports around the world and pursues their interests in discussions with governments and civil aviation international organizations.
It also aims to enhance cooperation between the civil aviation industry players and improve airports' regulatory standards.
ACI also provides data and specialized training programs for airports around the world to raise airports’ efficiency.
As a member of ACI Asia-Pacific, RAC is now part of a network of airport operators and other international bodies that will enable the company to benefit from building local capabilities with other international airports and key industry players.
CEO of RAC Eng. Mohammed Al-Maghlouth said: “RAC’s membership comes in alignment with the strategic direction of Riyadh Airports Company, and increases its contribution to improve the airport industry, both regionally and internationally.”
