Riverside Festival announce second wave of artists for epic 2022 line-up

Riverside Festival has today revealed the second wave of artists joining the bill for what is set to be an unforgettable 2022 event.

Big names such as Robert Hood, Helena Hauff, Joseph Capriati, Big Freedia, HAAi, ANNA, Derrick Carter, Chippy Nonstop, Bambounou, Joy Orbison, KiNK and Optimo are amongst those who will be joining previously announced headliners Charlotte De Witte, Carl Cox and Róisín Murphy for a three-day celebration of the best in cutting edge electronic music.

Renowned DJ, curator and founder of Glasgow’s number one inclusive and alternative queer party Shoot Your Shot, Bonzai Bonner, has been working closely with RF to curate the Saturday line-up which will be an alliance with the festival and the LGBTQ+ community in Scotland.

Bringing a programme of artists that reflects the SYS ethos: a truly 'anything goes' environment more focused on bringing freedom, energy and most importantly the F-U-N of after-parties and raves back into club and festival spaces.

The only Scottish club night to be nominated for last year's DJ Mag 'Best of British - Best Club Event’', SYS is now firmly established as one of the most outstanding club experiences in Scotland.

Organisers have also confirmed that, following last year’s success, the Satellite Stage will be returning to RF22 for the second time.

Bonzai Bonner said: "Shoot Your Shot are excited to be hosting a stage at next year's Riverside Festival to bring a celebration of electronic music cultivated on our doorstep along with inviting guests who represent our party.

"Glasgow boasts one of the best music scenes in the world and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to showcase that."

Mark Mackechnie, co-festival director, said: "We are very excited to launch the 2022 edition of Riverside Festival, which will be a three-day weekender event, taking place over the Jubilee Bank Holiday.

"We will once again have three stages showcasing, in our opinion, the best electronic music from both overseas and from our hometown.

"Last year was the best one yet - this year we will be going one step beyond."

The festival will take place on June 2, 3 and 4 at the Riverside Museum, Glasgow.

Tickets for the festival are available on the website.
