The upcoming season of "Riverdale" will pay tribute to late actor Luke Perry right off the bat.
The Season 4 premiere will be titled "In Memoriam" in remembrance of Perry, who died in March after suffering a stroke.
"Probably the most important episode of #Riverdale we'll do this year, if not ever," the show's creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa tweeted.
"A tribute to our fallen friend," he continued. "Thankful for this opportunity to honor Luke & Fred."
Perry played Fred Andrews ? the father of lead character Archie Andrews (portrayed by KJ Apa) ? on the teen drama show, which began in 2017.
The fourth season of The CW series premieres on Oct. 9.
Perry ? also known for his performances on the 1990s series "Beverly Hills, 90210" ? died on March 4, several days after he suffered the stroke. He was 52.
Days after the actor's death, Aguirre-Sacasa announced that all future episodes of "Riverdale" would be dedicated to Perry.
The final episode of "Riverdale" to feature Perry aired on April 24 and involved his character comforting his son.
