The River of Light festival returns to Liverpool this week with a huge firework display and 10 new light installations .

From November 1, Liverpool's waterfront will be transformed with light, colour and sound as dazzling art commissions go on display across the city.

The artwork is set to become part of the city’s landscape for nine days, until November 9, with huge firework displays on the Liverpool and Wirral sides of the water.

Before you visit this season’s must-visit selfie spots, we’ve taken a look at just when they’re available for viewing - and when you can see the fireworks, of course.
