All non-essential retailers, including clothing and homeware stores, betting shops, electronics stores and more, finally reopened their doors last week after months of closure due to lockdown restrictions.
Shops reopened as part of Step 2 in the government's roadmap out of lockdown, which aims to see all restrictions lifted by June 21.

Retailers still ensure shoppers are kept in the loop on product launches and stock via social media.
High-street favourite River Island got shoppers excited with a recent Instagram post.
The photo shows @itsolivialevett wearing a black and white spotty top, complete with long loose sleeves and a cowl neck, paired with light denim jeans, white strappy heels and a large bag.
The River Island blouse, which costs £32, proved a hit among shoppers.
The photo racked up more than 4,800 likes and shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.
