River Island are amongst those stores to start trading again during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Not only have they announced they plan to reopen warehouses, but they will be getting back to normal as possible with dispatching orders.
After alerting shoppers of their closures a couple of weeks back, here is what the thriving high street store had to say.
"Yes, during the temporary closure of our warehouse we’ve worked with our teams to test and implement new safety measures, we’re happy with the results and are now despatching orders to the UK and Ireland. "
We aren’t back to ‘business as usual’ just yet and expect some delays while we continue working things out and running vital process checks. We expect all new orders to be dispatched within 10 days and, as usual, you’ll be notified as soon as your order has been sent out."
Now, shoppers will be able to get their hands on the latest fashions again from their website packed with some of the bestselling high street bargains.
The store have also made it very clear that while they intend on having the situation under control and orders should be getting back to normal processing, some major changes have had to be made with their returns policy.
Their latest statement points out that shoppers have the chance to return items purchased before lockdown within 28 days of stores reopening valid for purchases made from 18/02/2020.
And for online orders, shoppers have 28 days to return via our free services, as standard.
They have introduced free returns for customers in the Republic of Ireland.
Also, what we are seeing more of from our favourite stores is their consideration for key workers and NHS workers.
They will be given an additional 14 days to return and can request their 14-day returns extension by sending an email to returnsextension@river-island.com with your order confirmation number.
