Settling on baby name is one of the biggest decisions new parents face. Do you go down the traditional route and name them after the gramps? Or are you looking to stay in vogue and pick a name from the most popular lists?
Wewere the top boy and girl names in Glasgow. But one brand is predicting the rise of gender neutral baby names in the future.
JoJo Maman Bébé believe that names that work for both boys and girls will be "more popular than ever" come 2020.
A spokesperson for the maternity brand suggests that this "could be because we're breaking down gender boundaries" as some folk move towards raising children with less emphasis placed on their gender.
They brand also reckons that new parents are "more likely to be set on a name" before they find out the sex of their child.
With this in mind, the brand has predicted 18 unisex or gender-neutral names that could become popular next year .
