Rivaldo provides Eden Hazard prediction amid Chelsea to Real Madrid transfer reports

Eden Hazard is edging closer to a move away from Chelsea if reports are to be believed, with Real Madrid his expected destination.

There have been numerous rumours about his future and now we have a prediction from former Barcelona and Brazil star Rivaldo.

The former midfielder was speaking to Betfair and has opened up on why he not only thinks Hazard will join Real, but why he would thrive at the Bernabeu.

Rivaldo firmly believes that the Belgium international has the capabilities to take the La Liga by storm.

The Chelsea players fans want to see depart Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window

"I think that Eden Hazard's expected arrival at Real Madrid will be beneficial for both parties. Madrid had an awful season and needs these kinds of players to improve next season, while the player is looking for a bigger challenge than Chelsea after so many years in London," Rivaldo told Betfair.

"He is a great player with everything needed to leave his mark in Spain. I'm an admirer of Hazard's qualities and he would be an excellent signing, if confirmed.

What Maurizio Sarri has planned for his Chelsea players ahead of Europa League final vs Arsenal

"At his age and having the maturity of playing many years at Premier League, the Belgian could adapt easily to the Spanish football, which is not as demanding as the English game, so I have no advice for him. He just needs to focus and show his big value."
