Rita Wilson has shared the two requests she made to her husband, Tom Hanks, following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2015.
The actor and singer asked Hanks to be sad for a very long time and to throw her a celebration of life party if she were to die.
Wilson discussed her health journey and these requests during an on-stage conversation with Demi Moore in New York.
Her conversation with Hanks inspired her 2019 song, 'Throw Me a Party'.
Wilson, who underwent a bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, celebrated being '10 years cancer-free' in March 2025.
