Rita Ora teases one-off Eurovision performance

Rita Ora teased fans with some insight into what her Eurovision Song contest Semi-Final performance will look like.

The singer-songwriter joined Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp where she admitted how excited she was to be a part of the contest. She's set to perform a mashup of some of her biggest bangers and told Roman she doesn't plan to play it subtly.

Discussing her performance, she said: "Oh my gosh, what is happening, we’re getting really busy! I am at the Eurovision Semi-Final, it’s live, and it’s absolutely going to be mental. I’ve heard there’s so much going on. For my performance I’m like practising like crazy, there are over fifty dancers and it’s just mental.

Quizzed on whether or not this performance was a one-off, she added: "This is a one-off, I’m going to do a really special medley of all my songs and I’m going to perform Praising You for the first time live. Ever. What better stage than Eurovision."

Host Julia Sanina opens the first Semi-Final by performing part of ‘Маяк’ by her band The HARDKISS. Translating from the Ukrainian for 'lighthouse', the performance will symbolise how the UK is ‘United by Music’ with Ukraine.

Then fans will see Rita Ora deliver her show-stopping medley of hits. The singer currently holds the record for the most top 10 singles in the Official Charts by a British female artist and has accumulated 10 billion streams. Rita will also perform the world exclusive of her brand-new single Praising You to millions watching across the globe.

Ukrainian singer Alyosha – who represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2010 – will perform alongside Liverpool’s very own critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter, Rebecca Ferguson.
