Rita Ora parties in Sydney with Courtney Act after lockdown-flouting

Rita Ora has put her lockdown rule-breaking well and truly behind her as she enjoyed a night out in Syndey.

The singer, 30, partied at a Mardi Gras held by TikTok in Australia, alongside Drag Race star and Celebrity Big Brother winner Courtney Act.

She is currently in Australia to film the country's version of the voice and had to undergo the mandatory two-week quarantine when she arrived from the UK.

And it seems Rita is throughly enjoying her freedom, as she took to Instagram to document the event on Wednesday night.

Rita sported a floral catsuit and a pair of stilettos, which she matched with an enormous sparkly hat.

She posed for a series of photos by her pool and outside the club.

Rita captioned the post: "I had the best time going to the Pre game Mardi Gras event with @courtneyact and @tiktok_australia and so many other amazing queens.

"It was so fun I can't wait for Saturday!!"

Rita finished the post with the hashtag #mardigras2021 and rainbow and love heart emojis.

Courtney shared a video of them on their wild night out on her Instagram account.

The pair didn't socially-distance as they played around for the camera.

Back in November, Rita came under fire for throwing her 30th birthday party at a posh London restaurant, despite lockdown rules.

At a licence review application for the restaurant brought by the Met Police, the restaurant's boss claimed Rita's team offered him £5,000 to break Covid rules and host the party.

Rita shared a grovelling apology with her fans after she was slammed over the party on social media.

She said she was "deeply sorry" for the "inexcusable" party which she insisted was a "spur of the moment".

It then emerged that she'd broken the lockdown rules again by failing to quarantine after performing a gig in Egypt.

In fact, Rita threw her birthday party when she was meant to be in quarantine.

Rita then issued another apology, saying: "Upon my return to Britain, I should have followed Government advice and isolated myself for the required period.

"As you know, I didn't follow Government advice and… I apologise again, unreservedly."

Rita's reps declined to comment when contacted by The Mirror.
