Adam Crizzle, managing director of Hillcroft House, explains Angela Zvesper she should win the Rising Star category of the Guardian Small Business Showcase competition:
I am nominating Angela Zvesper, Academic Lead at Hillcroft House as the rising star in the business. In the 37 years of my working life I have not seen any individual make such an outstanding contribution to the current and future direction of a business in a 12 month period.
With regard to a specific project, Angela’s persistence, diligence, leadership and determination resulted in Hillcroft House achieving university status academic accreditation for its masterclasses in leadership. She achieved this by working directly with the university, focusing on the university’s requirements and ensuring the overall process was smoothly and efficiently managed.
Angela’s exceptional knowledge, skills, attitude and behaviour have contributed significantly towards the short, medium and long term objectives of the company. Her ideas are exciting and daring yet presented in a simple, practical, realistic and concise way.
Her commitment to the client base and her business ethics have gone far beyond what any business leader would expect from a member of their team. In my mind, I am without any doubt that Angela Zvesper is an exceptional person who has made an extraordinary contribution to Hillcroft House.
All entries which meet the competition criteria are published and our judging panel select a shortlist of the top three for each category. Winners are announced at an awards ceremony in summer 2016.
