As a sole trader, I started Jalopy Pizza on my own. Although I have had some great staff members, Will has really gone beyond his job description. He has supported me, taken a keen interest in the business and thought of ways to increase trade. He has gone the extra mile on numerous occasions and I completely trust him with my most precious asset (the vintage Peugeot J7!).
He has proved himself to be a Jack of all trades - endlessly flexible and accommodating. He does everything from making the dough, to changing a wheel. He is practical and if he is asked to do something, no matter how obscure (e.g. find a private party in the middle of nowhere), or unpleasant (e.g. scrubbing black mould off a wall), he approaches all tasks with a cheerful willingness.
I never need to follow behind him checking that the task as been done, because I know he will do it to the best of his ability.
He has transformed my business - taking it from a burden that I could barely carry, to a healthy growing business with a bright future. We are going every year and his reliable, cheerful support has been invaluable. Go Will! You are a definite Rising Star who really, really deserves some recognition and appreciation for all your hard work.
