House of Logos, established in 1975, specialises in the manufacture of promotional jewellery for businesses.
Tom was taken on in 2013 as an apprentice to help in the sales and marketing side of the business, but has always had a keen interest in motor sports. We had tried to get into this market before but with little success, so we gave Tom free rein to generate some interest in the automotive industry.
Through social media (something we had not seriously looked at before) he has managed to secure contracts for the production of keyrings with many businesses in the motor industry.
He has quickly learned that firms are always looking at new ways to promote their business, and he often comes up with suggestions for how their business can benefit by using our custom-made products.
He has managed to open up a new marketplace for our business and is enjoying mixing business with pleasure as he attends quite a few motor shows and festivals. He is very proud when he sees his ideas and products being used by our customers.
Tom has not only secured orders in the UK but also in the US, Japan, the Netherlands and Australia. He will also be responsible for developing the new House of Logos website that will be launched later this year. Tom was appointed as a director earlier this year and will celebrate his 21st birthday in November, quite an achievement in a relatively short space of time.
