To attract Brazilian students to study in the UK and advertise the company in Brazil, Solange had the idea of running a competition - the students would write their reasons for wanting to study English.
To obtain the prizes, she persuaded British educational institutions to donate free English language courses, and negotiated with people from the accommodation sector to find the best deals.
She also liaised with a marketing company to advertise the competition in Brazil. During the competition process, she managed more than 500 entries by herself. She also discussed the terms and conditions of the competition with students and parents throughout the process, dealing with all issues during the process with professionalism and dedication.
Later, she looked after the winners of the competition during their time in Manchester. She arranged trips and did the airport pick-up herself.
The winners enjoyed their time in England, especially the trip to London. At the same time, she went through the process of association with the International College of Economics and Finance and the British Council by passing their selection process.
In addition, she applied to two major exhibitions in London (Alphe and StudyWorld) to have meetings with more than 70 educational institutions from around the world. She has also actively participated in masterclasses and networking events delivered by Business Growth, Business Finance Solutions, Innospace and TiE UK North. She completed all of these activities within four months.
