Ben was social enterprise Cause4’s first employee four years ago. Despite being new to fundraising, his dedication and hard work has led to him developing significant expertise in a wide range of critical elements of fundraising at a time of high-growth and change for the organisation. He has continued to excel not only in working directly with clients, raising over £4m for charities both internationally and across the UK and generating £50,000 of new business for Cause4.
He has also helped the company to grow its internal infrastructure (helping to design and launch a new company wide IT system and project managing the organisation’s move to its current location). His focus on creative and innovative fundraising solutions for clients has meant that he is continually supporting charities to launch cutting edge fundraising initiatives at a time of change for the sector.
In April 2014, Ben was appointed head of development and is in the process of leading a new team and expanding the organisation’s services with charities and philanthropists in the sports sector - a key area of growth for the organisation.
Ben’s hard work and dedication to Cause4 over the past four years (and personal development over the past 12 months) has left him in a perfect position to not only continue to support Cause4 to grow but to develop his role as a key next generation leader in the sector.
