His personality and flair make him universally popular and while it helps to be 6ft 4in and devilishly handsome, Andy is admired most for his application to work.
His day starts around 5am when he’ll be found for three hours on Skype with our Mumbai-based team of developers. Next he’ll nip off for a run when most of us are having our breakfast, and be off dealing with customer queries, meeting our suppliers, managing content and engaging with myself and our UK team for the rest of the day.
Best of all, he has the temperament to deal with all crises that come our way and defuse them with an easy charm. He may sound laid-back but he’s driven and got a moral compass that keeps him striving in the right direction. In 30 years of business I haven’t enjoyed working with anyone so much.
In 14 months of working together we have yet to fall out and the same will be said by all members of the team. For his flair, integrity, drive and aptitude Andy Walker is the rising star of Pension PlayPen.
