Amy started out in digital media working for a number of London agencies, gaining experience working on projects for some of the largest accounts in Europe.
She then spent four years working as an independent digital marketing consultant both directly with brands and also at top London agencies advising on projects. Amy has advised on a number of VC-backed projects with startups who needed to grow rapidly or manage their businesses to receive further funding.
Last year she worked at Rakuten Marketing, heading up an intra-company project to launch wuaki.tv in the UK. As rewarding as consulting was for Amy, she eventually realised that she needed to create an environment that ensured clients were confident in their expectations of working together into the longer term. She knew that starting an agency was the best way to fully commit to the success of partner brands.
W Digital began delivering marketing services to a few fashion clients, which led to repeat projects with one of the VCs we met along the way and eventually, the birth of W Digital.
Amy’s top priority is a happy team. A high staff turnover is nobody’s friend so this is an intrinsic part of W Digital’s method to continue delivering online growth for our client partners. Year on year W Digital has consistently delivered marketing campaigns well within targets and have even increased online revenues by 65% for certain clients.
