Alex joined us aged 20 as a placement student to help with marketing and administration after the second year of his degree. He moved to the national office in June as marketing assistant and is responsible for digital and offline marketing. He returns to university next week and we don’t know what we’ll do without him.
Alex was tasked with creating and marketing a brand for the work we do with schools. He created HR Dept Academic, which included overseeing design of the logo and materials and running a seminar, which won clients in line with targets.
Alex takes ownership of everything he does. His sense of calm, even when things are busy, helps the whole team. Despite being very much the licensee’s junior, he’s a respected authority.
Alex always demonstrates initiative and determination. He devised and implemented a programme to revamp training, including setting up an Eventbrite booking system with immediate payment rather than invoicing, establishing a cancellation policy which protected income, and planning a marketing campaign. This resulted in increased attendance and training turnover.
