Abi has had a phenomenal year seeing her business grow fourfold.
Recognising the need for better cat care in the UK, she opened her first luxury cat hotel in 2010. There is a huge demand for luxury cat accommodation in the UK among the more discerning of the nation’s 11 million cat owners, and demand for Longcroft suites quickly exceeded supply.
While running her own hotel, Abi has inspired franchisees across the UK to invest in this successful and rewarding business. The five-star accommodation offers up to nine individual, thermostatically controlled bedroom suites with a safe garden and play area.
Over the last 12 months four new cat hotels have opened under the Longcroft franchise and there are plans to open a further five by the end of 2014. Abi’s success lies in her attention to detail, investment in five-star quality and design and putting the customer, alongside cat welfare, at the heart of every business decision.
Abi mentors each new franchisee to ensure the same five-star experience is met in each hotel, resulting in hundreds of rave reviews from happy customers. Abi continually seeks out ways to deliver an exceptional experience to her customers, and as a result plans to launch a new cat accessories business as part of the Longcroft offering in the second quarter of 2015.
