Rishi was a Bollywood icon and carved out a career for himself as the industry's most charming romantic leads.

Raddhima, 39, shared a snap of her and her dad, writing: "Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls every day!

"I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you!

"Until we meet again papa I love you - your Mushk forever."

Meanwhile, Rishi's son and Raddhima's younger brother Ranbir, 37, said that the family is "shattered" by his death.

Ranbir added that Rishi's legacy has gone beyond cinema.

"We will miss you, Rishi Sir," he wrote. "The joy you bought to millions on screen is beyond compare.

"No words can express the pain of losing you. This void can't be fufilled."

He rounded off the message: "We shall see the Sun, Moon, Stars, know that you are at peace.

The post also urged Rishi's fans to take all precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic, because the legend "would not have it any other way."

"In this hour of personal loss we also recognise that the world is going through a very difficult and troubled time," it read.

"There are numerous restrictions around movement and gathering in public.

"We would like to request all his fans and well-wishers and friends of the family to please respect the laws that are in force."

Just prior to his death, he was filmed in his bed in a Mumbai hospital as his doctor sings to him.
