Rise in coronavirus cases across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire over the last 24 hours

Most parts of Nottinghamshire have recorded more coronavirus cases during the last 24 hours

As of 4pm on Sunday, August 23, a total of 21 new cases have been reported since the same time on Saturday, August 23.

The latest Government data shows the biggest increase has been across the city of Nottingham, where there has been a daily increase of 14 cases. This brings the total number of cases to 1,315 recorded so far on Sunday, August 22, compared with 1,301 on Saturday, August 22.

Outside of the city, the county's total number of cases recorded now stands at 3,324, which represents a rise of nine cases reported in the last 24 hours - up from the 3,315 on Saturday.

This is the current breakdown of confirmed infections for each part of Nottinghamshire:

  • Ashfield - 598 (no change)
  • Bassetlaw - 649 (no change)
  • Broxtowe - 455 (increase of 1)
  • Gedling - 400 (increase of 2)
  • Mansfield - 366 (increase of 1)
  • Newark and Sherwood - 443 (increase of 2)
  • Nottingham 1,315 (increase of 14)
  • Rushcliffe - 413 (increase of 3)
