A street in Leith has been cordoned off this evening amid an ongoing incident.
North Junction Street, between Ferry Road and Admiralty Street, has been locked down since around 8pm.
There is a major police presence at the scene, including at least four riot vans.
A clip shared to social media at around 9:30pm shows officers wearing face guards and shields have been called in.
A local resident also reported police dogs were being used and an ambulance van was also in attendance.
Edinburgh Live have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
