Riot police lock down Fife street and arrest man after 'disturbance' reported at flat

Police locked down a Fife street and arrested a man after a 'disturbance' was reported at a flat.

Riot vans raced to a property in Durie Park, Burntisland after the alarm was raised at around 6.30pm last night.

A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is due before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Officers have launched a full investigation into the incident.

Police Scotland said:“Around 6.30pm on Tuesday, 20 April, police were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance within a property in Durie Park, Burntisland.

"Officers attended and a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

"He is due before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 21 April, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
