Riot Fest is celebrating its 15th year in 2019, with three days of music and more at Douglas Park.
Here’s a look at some of the fun from Day 2 of this year’s event, which also features the debut of a Riot Fest beer — Riot Fest Sucks Pale Ale.
The shows run through 10 p.m. Saturday, and festival gates open again 11 a.m. Sunday at the park at 1401 S. Sacramento Drive.
Saturday’s lineup includes: Slayer (in what is billed as its last Chicago show), Rise Against, Bloc Party (“Silent Alarm”), Die Antwoord, Manchester Orchestra, The Story So Far, Avail (“Over the James”), The Struts, Pvris, Anthrax, Testament, Andrew W.K., Gwar, Turnover, Senses Fail, The Selecter (“Too Much Pressure”), The Damned Things, Grandson, Turnstile, Surfer Blood, Cursive, The Hu, Prof, Cherry Glazerr, Masked Intruder, Drakulas, Microwave, Lando Chill, Cleopatrick, Elder Brother and Monarchy Over Monday.
