With Worlds 2025 just around the corner, Riot Games is showing some love to the older cosmetics for Invictus Gaming and Samsung Galaxy with elite chromas that breathe new life into their iconic champion skins.
Since 2019, beginning with FunPlus Phoenix’s championship skins, every Worlds-winning team has also received chromas, adding extra color options to their commemorative cosmetics. But teams that lifted the Summoner’s Cup before 2019 never had the same treatment—until now.

Starting from League Patch 25.20, they’ll come with chromas for the 2017 Samsung Galaxy Championship skins and the 2018 Invictus Gaming. Both teams have had iconic narratives leading to their win, and their existing skins will now have chromas to let players pick them up with different colors.
In 2017, Samsung Galaxy ended SKT T1’s two-peat with a dominating 3-0 defeat at Beijing. Gen.G, the team’s successor, are coming to repeat history this year and win their maiden title at Worlds 2025. The champions who’ll get their chromas from the SSG lineup include Gnar, Jarvan IV, Ezreal, Taliyah, Xayah, and Rakan.
Meanwhile, in 2018, Invictus Gaming became the first team from LPL to finally break the curse and become World Champions after their two runner-up finishes. The iG skins are already very popular among fans and pro players, and champions like Irelia, Fiora, Camille, LeBlanc, Kai’Sa, and Rakan will be getting chromas to make it even more attractive for players to add to their arsenal and personalize them as they want.
These teams have a special connection to China, and Worlds 2025 heads to the country this year. The tradition might continue for earlier Worlds skins, including SKT T1 skins. The new iG and SSG chromas will be available on PBE in the coming days.
