Former Manchester United and England star Rio Ferdinand attempted to bench press his fiancée Kate Wright - but couldn’t quite manage the task.
The loved-up pair took to Instagram to share a video of themselves larking about in the gym.
Former TOWIE star Kate posted the video first, captioning it: “When bae says he’s strong but drops you after 3 reps” along with laughing emojis.
The video was reposted by Rio, who added: “Sweaty bum time”.
In the video, Rio can be seen dressed in blue shorts and a matching blue top, with Kate wearing all black.
A voice can be heard over the hilarious video saying: “Stay strong, stay strong, good girl, rip out Ri, rip em out”.
There is much laughter as Rio drops Kate after just three reps, leaving her in a giggling heap on the floor beside him.
Rio, 39, and Kate, 27, are yet to set a wedding date but have been engaged since November 2018.
The former footballer popped the question during a family holiday in Abu Dhabi.
The pair have been dating since 2016, after meeting in Dubai.
Kate quit reality show The Only Way is Essex to become a full-time mum to Rio’s three children Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine and Tia, seven.
Rio’s wife Rebecca Ellison passed away from breast cancer in 2015.
