Rio Ferdinand sums up how Manchester United fans are feeling during Watford clash

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has perfectly summed up how fans are feeling during the clash with Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

United entered the game knowing they could move within a point of fourth-placed Chelsea with a victory against the Hornets, who were rooted to the bottom of the table.

However, a drab first half was followed by a quickfire double for the hosts shortly after the interval as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side surprisingly fell behind.

Ismaila Sarr opened the scoring with a tame effort which David De Gea fumbled into the net five minutes after the restart, which was followed by Troy Deeney tucking home from the penalty spot after Aaron Wan-Bissaka's foul.

Taking to Twitter after Deeney tucked home from the spot, Ferdinand perfectly reflected the mood of United supporters after posting four emojis of an angry face swearing.

It wasn't the only noticeable reaction to Watford's swift double posted, as Match of the Day host Gary Lineker also shared his thoughts after De Gea's error for the opening goal.

"Oh dear: David de Gea lets the bar of soap slip through his fingers," he shared on his account .
