Rio Ferdinand sends 'out of order' message to Mohamed Salah after Liverpool goals

Rio Ferdinand believes Liverpool star Mohamed Salah doesn't get the respect he deserves.

The Egyptian scored his 31st goal of the season against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday and is currently level with Harry Kane in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

Should the Reds forward win the accolade, it would be his third triumph in four seasons since moving to Anfield in the summer of 2017.

Despite such returns, Salah has controversially been left out of a number of suggested 'Team of the Years', with even Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher overlooking the 28-year-old.

And former Manchester United ace Ferdinand believes such a stance is 'out of order'.

"He’s vying for top goalscorer again in this league and he’s not in people’s team of the season, I do not get it,’ Ferdinand said on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE.

"He ain’t getting the respect he deserves.

" Mohamed Salah is a top, top, top, top player who is churning out numbers year in, year out.

"It’s become the norm to see him at the top of the charts now. It’s out of order!"
