Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has urged the Chelsea forwards to watch their rivals in action in order to learn from opposition players.
The Blues head into a London derby against Arsenal on the back of a defeat at the hands of Newcastle United, which continues a difficult vein of form for Frank Lampard's side.
A big problem during this period has been the club's inability to convert their chances in the final third but Ferdinand has told them how to improve, stating they must watch the likes of Raheem Sterling, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in action.
"Pushing for more is being a student of the game. These wide players need to watch other players,” he told BT Sport.
"Why is Sterling getting all these accolades and goals in this season and last season?
"Why is Mohamed Salah getting all these goals? Why is Sadio Mane getting all these goals?
"Look at their positions, study them in a big game.
"I don't know if players are actually watching other players and teams enough to learn.
"You don't just learn from a coach, you don’t just learn from being told, sometimes you’ve got to see visuals and be a student yourself.
"Take your responsibility into your own hands and learn from other players as well."
