Rio Ferdinand says Mohamed Salah is 'out of order' after Liverpool win at AC Milan

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has praised Liverpool's Mohamed Salah after his performance against AC Milan on Tuesday night.

The Reds beat the Serie A giants 2-1 to finish the Champions League group stage with six wins from six.

Salah reached 20 goals in all competitions so far this season with a goal at the San Siro and Ferdinand joked that the 29-year-old's goalscoring form is 'out of order'.

"20 goals before December is an absolute joke, it’s out of order," he told BT Sport.

'Can't believe it' - Jamie Carragher reveals text from Tyler Morton's dad after Liverpool win

Ex-Red Jamie Carragher has shared a heartwarming exchange with the father of Tyler Morton after Liverpool's 2-1 win over AC Milan on Tuesday.

Morton started his second Champions League game of the season at the San Siro this week and the 19-year-old earned plenty of praise for his performance.

Speaking on CBS Sports after the full-time whistle, Carragher shared a text exchange with the player's father and expressed his immense pride in the youngster.

"I texted him [Morton's dad] before the game 'Brilliant', when I saw the teamsheet, delighted for you and the family," Carragher said.

He continued by reading the reply of Morton's dad, which read: "Can't believe it. Wow, thank you!"
