Rio Ferdinand sums up Manchester United player Mason Greenwood

Manchester United great Rio Ferdinand labeled Mason Greenwood 'ruthless' after the teenager scored again in the Premier League match against Bournemouth.

Many were expecting a comfortable victory for United against the Cherries, who are struggling at the bottom of the table and haven't won in seven games, but they actually fell behind early in the game.

Poor defending from Harry Maguire and another David De Gea error allowed Junior Stanislas to score from a tight angle but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side weren't behind for long.

Just 15 minutes later Bruno Fernandes rolled a ball across the box to Greenwood who took one touch to set himself before hammering the ball home to draw level, though he was helped by some more poor goalkeeping, with his first shot of the game.

The strike is the 18-year-old's seventh league goal of the season, taking his tally to 14 in all competitions, as he continues to shine in the first team.

Ferdinand was certainly impressed and after the goal he posted a video on Twitter and said: "Wow! Greenwood is... One word for him: ruthless!

"It's not about the goalkeeper, it's about Mason Greenwood right now. Bang! Gives him no chance, bang! Take that, wallop!"

United would then retake the lead shortly after as a penalty was awarded for handball, which was duly converted by Marcus Rashford before Anthony Martial netted a sensational curling effort to make it 3-1 on the edge of half-time.

Ferdinand was impressed with that strike as well and posted another short clip in which he said: "Anthony Martial! I mean he's looked up and he's said right: top bins. Bang! Have that. Bosh!"
