Rio Ferdinand has revealed his concerns for "indifferent" Leeds United based on their recent form.
Leeds sit 14th in the Premier League table going into the round of midweek fixtures.
Marcelo Bielsa's men have collected 14 points from their opening 12 league fixtures following the club's long-awaited return to the top flight.
That puts them six points clear of the relegation zone, though they are going into tonight's home clash with Newcastle United on the back of successive defeats.
A 3-1 loss at Chelsea was followed by a 2-1 defeat to West Ham United at Elland Road last time out.
Speaking on his YouTube channel Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE, the former Leeds, West Ham and Manchester United star said: “Leeds are just a bit indifferent - you don’t know what you’re going to get at the moment.
“They started the season like a house on fire then all of a sudden, bang. They get a few indifferent results and you think: 'Wow'.
"Especially when you're the home team, Leeds will be expecting to win and dominate but it just hasn't been coming off.
"I think they had a couple of decent chances (against West Ham) - on another day they go in and it's a different result.
"But I think West Ham at the moment look to be a team that are capable of just grinding out the results. David Moyes is doing a fabulous job."
After taking on Newcastle, Leeds face Man United at Old Trafford on Sunday (December 20).
They then round off the year with a home clash with Burnley on Sunday, December 27, and a trip to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday, December 29.
The Whites kick off 2021 away to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, January 2.
